Robey-Willson Counselling and Psychotherapy

Before training as a counsellor and psychotherapist, I worked first as a marine scientist and later as a chemistry teacher. These roles helped me understand both public and private working environments and, more importantly, strengthened my empathy for the challenges and pressures people face in different areas of life.

I hold a strong belief in the healing power of connection—connection with others, with the natural world, and with oneself. In therapy, we can explore how you relate to these areas, and create space for you to understand your struggles, make sense of your experiences, and discover what feels authentic and meaningful for you.

Influenced by my own positive and life-changing experience of therapy, I am now training as an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist at Birmingham Newman University. I am in clinical practice and receive regular supervision to ensure safe and ethical work with clients. I welcome those who are entirely new to therapy, as well as those returning after time away. Both in-person and online sessions are available.
